In June 2024, the production and sales of automobiles reached 2.507 million and 2.552 million respectively, with a month on month increase of 5.7% and 5.6%, and a year-on-year decrease of 2.1% and 2.7%, respectively. With the continuous implementation of the car trade in activity, local supporting policies have been introduced one after another, and new models of enterprises have been continuously launched. Combined with the momentum of car companies at the half year node, the automobile market continued to grow month on month in June.

From January to June, the production and sales of automobiles reached 13.891 million and 14.047 million respectively, an increase of 4.9% and 6.1% year-on-year, respectively. The growth rate of production and sales narrowed by 1.7 and 2.2 percentage points respectively compared to January to May.
